“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and In all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Our Vision

  • Train a key Pastor or leader from every country in the World on the Purpose Driven Church Model

  • Lead in reaching the Unengaged/Unreached People Groups

  • Meet the felt needs of the community

  • Increase participation from Highlands members in personal, local, and global P.E.A.C.E. missions

The Highlands PEACE Initiative is our church’s response to the five global giants plaguing much of the world: Spiritual Emptiness, Self-Centered Leadership, Poverty, Disease, and Illiteracy.

The PEACE initiative is about turning an audience into an army, consumers into contributors, spectators into participators. It’s time for the church to be the church. We continue Jesus’ s strategy through the PEACE initiative with imperfect people empowered by God to make a difference together wherever they are.

1) Personal Peace- Your personal ministry to the people in your life.
2) Local Peace- Our church’s ministry to those in our community.
3) Global Peace- Our church’s ministry to the entire world.

Our heart is to have a great commitment to the Great Commandment: to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We also believe we have a great commitment to the Great Commission: to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all of creation. On this website you will find how we live out these beliefs through our global and local missions.

Redias Nkundabera

“…much has been done as result of the training in my church and community because I was able to train all my pastors about all I learned in the Training.”
